The attic was air sealed.  A new insulated storage deck was installed and 14 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in around the deck.  The attic is now well insulated which will improve the comfort of the home and decrease energy usage.

As part of a larger project we sprayed the side attic shown here with 2 inches of closed cell foam.  Along with the rest of the project this will contribute to making the home more comfortable and energy efficient.
