Foam It Insulation

This home is almost done. Some of the finishing touches are being done at this very moment. As shown, there were plenty of gaps and cracks where the cold winter air could seep right in. Now that it is spray foamed, you almost don't need a heater in the home. Once it's warmed up, it stays that way for quite a while. Just imagine what is behind your drywall. How many places are there that you would be able to see right to the outside? Those gaps and cracks are where your money is going. Now I'm not saying tear down your drywall and look for dollar bills. Just pull out your energy bills and see how much you are actually spending to heat and cool your home. Now imagine that getting adequate insulation would drastically reduce your bills. Would you do it? Or would you continue to throw your money in the garbage? 

Another set of before and afters where it just goes to show that some insulation can go a long way. All of those nooks and crannies that could potentially let air escape or enter are where spray foam insulation is going to protect you and your home. It's all sealed now and good luck trying to find any places at all in those walls where air is going to be able to pass through. 

This Waverly, NY mobile home had an underside that was in poor shape due to pipe leaks in the past. The existing fiberglass had fallen down to the ground in many spots.  We proposed to take out all the fallen down fiberglass and spray 3 inches of our Closed Cell Spray Foam to the underside of the mobile home to give adequate insulation to the home. Cold floors will be a thing of the past for this homeowner!

This home in Waverly, NY needed basement insulation.   2 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the foundation walls.  Along with other aspects of the project this will contribute to improving the comfort of the home and will help with energy efficiency.
