Following a inspection from one of our Home Comfort Specialist it was determined that the root cause of his issues was the crawl space. This crawl had open vents, a messy vapor barrier, and very little insulation. On the day of the job our technicians began by removing the old vapor barrier from the ground of the crawl. The next step was to spray foam the walls and all of the open vents. this full seals in the crawl space from the outside elements while also insulating the crawl space. the final step was installing a dehumidifier to that keep the humidity at at perfect range of 50-55%. The Homeowner immediately noticed a difference in the temperature of the home and is resting comfortably.
