We did a number of projects for this customer in Brentwood, MD.  As you can see, they had a very old wooden crawl space door that was not secured and falling apart.  We installed a new EverLast Crawl Space door that is more attractive and maintenance free.   This door won't warp, crack, shrink or require maintenance or painting.  Also, the crawl space interior is fully protected and isolated from critters. 

This home in Dunkirk, Maryland suffered from cold floors and uncomfortable drafts. The homeowner called Complete Home Solutions so that our Auditor could find the cause of these problems. Our Auditor determed that source of the problem was moisture in the crawl space was causing insulation to sag making the floors in the home cold.

Our Production Team sealed the crawl space to keep moisture out of the crawl space the make the insulation sag less.

This home built in 1950 in Hyattsville, Maryland was in need of several energy upgrades. There was no barrier around the opening of the attic pull-down stairs to allow for proper insulation in the attic.  We treated the pull-down stairs by caulking around framing joints, installing weather stripping around hatch cover and installing an attic tent over the opening in the ceiling. This helped reduce the amunt of air leakage through this untreated area.

This homeowner purchased a home in Hyattsville, MD that was built in 1950.  The home was in need of many energy efficient upgrades.  Our home comfort specialist, Merv Roussell, performed a home energy audit and recommended a number of improvements.  We ran a blower door test and found that the home was 1.96 leaker than a home its size should be.  Part of the air leakage came from the attic where there were multiple problems:  the home had attic flooring which made it difficult to air seal the penetrations and there was insufficient insulation levels through the attic.     We removed the attic flooring, air sealed all the pentrations to stop the excessive air leake.  We installed TruSoft cellulose insulation to bring the insulation levels up to R-49 as recommended for our climate zone.  These homeowners have moved into the home and are feeling the benefits of these improvements.

This home in Adelphi,Maryland was suffering from cold drafts in the house and called the Complete Home Solutions team to find the source of the issue. Our home comfort specialist determined that the attic wasn't properly insulated and was the source of the uncomfortable temperatures. Our Production Team installed new Cellulose Insulation to the attic to insulate the space and keep the home at a more comfortable temperature and save energy.
