This home in California, Maryland was having a hard time staying comfortable through the winters and summers. It was always either too cold or too hot. Not to mention, the utility bills every month were extremely high. Being introduced to Complete Home Solutions was just the thing this homeowner needed. 

We were able to make some installments that made a huge difference. Some of the work we did included weatherstripping, air sealing the attic, and replacing the old batt insulation with new, cellulose blown in insulation. Now the homeowner and her family are much more comfortable in their house and benefit from lower utility bills.   

When our Home Comfort Specialist arrived this homeowner’s crawl space had some old and damaged lining, the insulation was falling out of the ceiling, some water damage and there were air leaks everywhere. Which meant that he was losing energy, trying to keep his house warm. Air from the outside was able to freely move into his house from the crawl space area. Our Production Team at Complete Home Solutions was able to fix this and make his home efficient and comfortable again!

We gave the homeowner a Home Energy Audit to let him know what we could do to upgrade his crawl space. We ended up taking out all the old insulation, sealing up the vents and penetrations into the crawl space, and performing our CleanSpace Encapsulation. This made a huge difference! The homeowner did not have to fight to keep his house warm anymore (and the air that the family was breathing in was much cleaner and healthier).

It had been a cold, cold winter for this homeowner. Their house was impossible to keep warm and costing them a fortune to try. They didn't understand how their house could possibly be getting this cold, especially since they had insulation in their attic. Our Home Comfort Specialist found that a huge source of discomfort actually was the attic. Although there was a good bit of insulation in there, it was degraded and discolored, which means that air was still filtering through. The way to stop this was to air seal the attic, remove any damaged insulation, and install blown in cellulose insulation. We created a home that is comfortable throughout the cold winter months! 

The homeowners of this home in Lusby, Maryland noticed that their attic was lacking in insulation, especially around their air ducts and HVAC system. The homeowners called Complete Home Solutions to see how we could help. Our Auditor went into inspect the home. He agreed with the homeowners that there was insufficient and ineffective insulation in the attic. Our Production Team removed the old insulation and insulated any leaks that were in the air ducts and built a barrier around the HVAC system before insulating the attic with blow in cellulose insulation.

An exposed crawl space floor allows moisture to seep into the space.  This homeowner in Lusby, Maryland called to get their crawl space evaluated.  The crawl space insulation was sagging and had become ineffective. Lack of crawl space insulation leads to cold floors, drafts in the home, and could cause health problems.    Insulation was added to this crawl space to make the home more comfortable, healthy and energy efficient.
