After performing a home energy audit for these Auburn, NY customers, it was determined that there was a significant amount of energy loss through the attic. The primary issue was a lack of insulation and to solve this, we added loose blown in cellulose insulation. Cellulose is an affordable and effective way to upgrade attic insulation and provide a more comfortable, energy efficient home for the customer! 

This Auburn, NY customer contacted Halco because she wanted to go green and save on her electric bill. She had been contemplating solar for many years and with our help, she was finally able to move forward. The customer's home was fitted with an 8.32 kW solar electric system that was installed as a roof-mounted array. As designed, the 26 panel system should generate around 9,118.4 kWh per year. The energy produced by this system corresponds to a CO2 emissions savings of 13,862 lbs. per year! 

This Auburn, NY customer contacted Halco for a no-cost home energy assessment to learn where her home was wasting energy and what improvements could be made. While we were there for the assessment, we talked about her old, inefficient boiler and water heater and discussed upgrades that would provide the largest energy efficiency gains. Not only did this customer move forward with solar, but we also installed a Navien Combi Boiler to support her heating and DHW needs for the entire home. In addition to saving money on her gas usage, she was also able to free up a lot of floor space in her basement! 

This customer was introduced to Halco during the SolarizeCNY 2015 program - an initiative aimed at creating affordable and obtainable solar options for Central New York homeowners. The customer was interested in going green for both financial and environmental reasons. Halco installed a 15.34 kW roof-mounted solar array which will offset 100% of this customers baseload usage! 

This Auburn, NY customer contacted Halco looking for a water conditioning solution. His water was tested and showed that it was extremely hard at over 100 grains per gallon. The water also had a very high iron content. Halco technicians installed this new Hydrotech water conditioning system that will ensure the customer has safe, clean and clear water going forward!
