A new customer who saw our Pipe Works Services trucks in Summit, NJ called in and expressed interest in getting a new boiler. His old one was over 20 years old and she wanted some cost efficient options. Our comfort advisor Rob gave an option of a new Crown boiler. She decided to choose our company to install the Crown boiler so Pipe Works Services technicians Malik and Washington installed the boiler with a new thermostat, new electrical shut off switch, new gas shut off, new flue pipe to the chimney, new emergency water shut off and new back-flow prevention. This will supply heat to their home efficiently and will cut down their energy bills.
A customer in Summit, NJ contacted Pipe Works Services because they wanted better insulation in there attic and it felt drafty. Our system Design Specialist Tim visited the home and suggested air sealing and insulating the attic so that drafty air will not seep into the house. Pipe Works Services technicians Nick and Gio air sealed and insulated all exposed kneewalls with 2 inch Silverglo foam board and re-vented the existing bathroom fan to the exterior using r-7 insulated duct. They also air seal all accessible wall tops and penetrations,Insulated exposed ducts with 2 part foam.
A new customer in Summit NJ, who found us online on Home Advisor inquired about Pipe Works Services because they had a leak that they thought was from the toilet above a drop ceiling. Pipe Works Services technician Pedro was able to look into the situation and confirmed toilet on the first floor was leaking into the basement. Pedro took the toilet off and replaced the water wax seal... Pedro installed the toilet back and checked for leaks and could not find any. Pedro left the toilet working and he also replaced the flapper in master bathroom toilet as a courtesy. Now, this customer is happy with no leaks inside the walls from the toilet.
Customer in Butler, NJ experiencing a clog in a backyard drain. Our tecnician camera inspected the line and cleared the clog by jetting the line.
Our technicians applied spray foam the rim joist to seal and insulate the crawl space. They also installed SilverGlo rigid foam board between the Joist above the sill plate on the buffered wall, sealing air-tight with one part foam. This will help to insulate the area under the home and keep moisture and bad air out of the home.
