New Drainage System and Sump Pump for Wet Basement in Duluth, MN

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing system. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production team installed 83ft of ourWaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement as well as CleanSpace® wall poly. 

The system directs all moisture to a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. The crew connected this system to a new discharge line, directing water further away from the home's foundation. The home also had a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier installed to take care of any humidity in the basement.  Finally, an EverLast™ Window Insert was also installed to keep the basement's natural light source, but make the window more efficient. 

The homeowners now have a dry basement they can depend on!

Virginia, MN Home Repaired After Sustaining Significant Water Damage

These homeowners in Virginia, MN had been dealing with a wet basement for a long time. Concerned over its worsening condition and effects on the overall health of the rest of the home, they contacted DBS for a permanent solution. 

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist for this project and went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate. Royce measured several signs of significant water damage and came up with an extensive plan to solve the issues, both internally and externally.

DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the project foreman. He and his crew first excavated soil around a portion of the exterior wall to perform a wall straightening procedure as well as install SilverGlo™ and SentrySeal® products to seal and protect that wall that was prone to water. This was supported internally with 2 CarbonArmor® Wall Defense straps to prevent the wall from futher movement.

Our crew also installed a full WaterGuard® french drainage system. This system sits flush with the floor and is completely hidden, directing all water to the home's existing sump pump and a new exterior drainage line.

This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!

 

Duluth, MN Dirt Crawl Space Sealed with CleanSpace®

This homeowner in Duluth, MN had been experiencing uncomfortable conditions in their home for years. An unsealed crawl space beneath the home was pooling with water, causing humid air to enter the home in the summer months and cold air during winter months.

One of our DBS Design Specialist visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for a total crawl space encapsulation. After the inspection, our CleanSpace® vapor barrier as well as a sump pump was recommended in the space.

Our production crew first removed debris and prepped the space by excavated a layer of soil in the crawl space before installing our encapsulation system. This consisted of drainage matting, CleanSpace® vapor barrier, and a SmartSump™ sump pump. This crawl space drainage system is specially designed for crawl spaces. It has a lower profile than other pump packages, making installation in tight quarters easier.

The homeowners now have peace of mind that their sealed crawl space will restore overall health to their home.
