This basement was in desperate need for improvement. It is now much better thanks to the help of CleanSpace Encapsulation and Spray Foam. The basement will be dry and much more energy efficient. 

System Design Specialist Josh H. met with Wells, ME homeowners to assess their basement. The owners were tired of having a freezing basement and wanted to know their options to insulate the space. We removed their old damp insulation and installed SprayFoam insulation on the walls. SprayFoam creates an air and moisture tight seal, filling hard to get nooks and crannies. The owners can enjoy a warmer basement as well as cheaper energy bills!

Wells, Maine homeowners had an old sump pump that was not keeping up with the water in their crawl space. We upgraded their sump to our TripleSafe pump system, which has two Zoeller pumps and a third battery backup pump. The TripleSafe can handle over 6,000 gallons of water per hour in high capacity events. Additionally, we installed Spray Foam insulation on the crawl space walls. Spray Foam not only provides an air tight seal, but is also water and mold resistant, helping to keep moisture from seeping in.

Our Wells, ME homeowner had a damp dirt floor crawlspace that they were tired of dealing with. They contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for a free estimate to encapsulate the space. System Design Specialist Rick R. met with the homeowner to create a plan that would meet their needs.

To fully encapsulate the crawl space and keep moisture and critters out, CleanSpace with Drainage Matting was installed. Drainage Matting is a durable barrier with dimples to help channel water and elevate the CleanSpace, keeping it clean. CleanSpace is a durable, inorganic vapor barrier that gets attached to the walls and seals up the crawl space, keeping moisture out. A SmartSump was installed to capture water and pump it through the new Exterior Buried Discharge line. The Discharge line takes the water far from the home and with the installation of IceGuard, the entire system is protected against ice buildup in the winter. Not only is the homeowner able to enjoy their home with better air quality and without having to worry about water in their crawl space. Finishing out the full waterproofing system was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
