What did they learn that was most surprising:

I experienced damage to the circuit board HZ311 from an electric lightning storm surge. I had complete satisfaction maintaining annual service calls from the same GSM technician for three years prior to this emergency. So, when this occurred I called GSM and wanted to wait for my annual technicina. I waited one week to get the technician. After he arrived and told me the damage was the HZ311 and needed replacement. The price GSM quoted was almost $800 dollars. Not knowing what things cost I agreed and gave the okay to replace the panel. In addition there would be a $49.00 service call fee. Total invoice was $846.00. Researching this item I discovered a brand new panel retails for $105.89 ! I believe the markup was extraordinarily high and feel profoundly cheated by this experience. Unless this is not addressed I plan to use social media outlets to review what I experienced.
