We are very pleased with the work Foam-It has done for us and will very likely utilize them again in the future for other projects. The key reasons are their honesty, quality of work, timeliness, & going above and beyond to make sure the entire project was a success. Checking off all those qualities can be tough to find in vendors these days, but these guys were exceptional.

I contacted Foam-It using their online contact form and was contacted quickly to setup an in-home meeting to review our project requirements. Eric Johnston (salesman) met with us and thoroughly explained the process that would be performed to meet our needs of waterproofing our basement and setting up a proper sump system. We did a walk through in the basement and he took measurements & pictures to scope the project & work up a quote. For all that we decided to have done, I thought their pricing was very reasonable. Eric was a great communicator (via phone, text, & email) answered all of our questions. He wasn’t pushy in any way which I appreciated and he seemed honest about the process & the products used. Eric was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

I’m always apprehensive in working with new vendors due to prior poor experiences. This experience was fantastic however. The entire Project implementation was top notch before, during, & after our project. We can’t thank the team enough for making our home project a great success and solving a problem we struggled with in our basement for a very long time. Eric (sales), Frank (foreman), Bob (foreman), Matt, Hunter, Eli, and all other installers were very thorough and took pride in their quality of work. They treated our home like their own by keeping a very tidy workspace at the end of each day & were always great at communicating any potential discrepancies along the way so we could quickly rectify them and keep the project moving. They arrived at the job site reliably each day as well which was much appreciated. Frank went above the scope of work to set us up with a better dryer vent location so we could seal up an old drafty window. He didn’t have to bother with that but gladly did it for me and even installed a nice vent on the outside of the house for us (great guy to work with). Afterwards they sealed up the old window for me to keep cold air from rushing in, but leave it so it was still easy enough for another vendor to access to install a new window when the time comes. I inspected the basement after their work was complete and found some really cold spots in my rim joist space where it was tight to get their spray gun into. I contacted Frank and he gladly offered to come by with a few of his guys one afternoon and seal those areas up for us which they did, no hassle. They took extra time to review the entire space and sealed up anything in the joist area that could use a little extra foam. Frank reviewed with his guys how to check & handle these tricky areas which further shows his work ethic. Altogether we had the closed cell foam sprayed on our walls & rim joists, a perimeter trench dug out to install french drains, which was then directed to a sump well and pump. We went the extra mile and got a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier & Air Cleaner. All of the work was new and they were able to complete our project in three whole days which was incredible. Big thanks to the entire team for all of your hard work and taking such good care of our home!

The crew took all the necessary precautions to protect our belongings in the basement with plastic sheeting so they wouldn’t be covered in a mountain of dust from the jackhammering for the perimeter trench. That was much appreciated. They laid down burlap cloths on our floor in the path they walked through our living room to expel concrete debris from our basement. Each day that was the first thing they did was prep the work space so they wouldn’t make a muddy or wet mess traveling through our house which was great, saved us a lot of cleaning. The team was very thorough with sweeping our basement stairs, the basement floor, and any outdoor locations they worked to keep things tidy at the end of day. In the basement they kept their tools neatly together and out of the way. Very professional.
