To my HALCO friendsFinding the words to express my gratitude for the work you have done, toward making my life whole again, is an almost impossible task. When I called HALCO last fall for my annual furnace cleaning, little did I know we were about to embark on a new and frightening journey. I was in for the "the shock of my life" when the HALCO technician literally showed me that my furnace had gasped its last "hot air" and would have to be shut down for safety purposes. What was I to do? My furnace needed replacing and knew I couldn't afford to take this plunge. The 'tech' must have seen the panic on my face and the tears welling up in my eyes, because he calmly said, "Let me call my supervisor...maybe he can help us figure this out." That was beginning of a beautiful friendship between my HALCO family and myself and housemate.From that moment on, everyone at HALCO took more than a professional interest in making us feel that "our problem" was very important to them and that they were not going to stop until the job was done and everyone was satisfied. The HALCO family orchestrated a plan to not only get me a new furnace, proper insulation, hot water system and all of the 'bells and whistles' needed to ensure that I had a 'more efficient' heating and cooling system, but also assisted me in applying for the grants to help pay for this huge project.When I sat down to write this testimonial to my HALCO family, I went to their website to help me formulate what I wanted to day. In my eyes, this is truly an understatement.
