Job review from Jamie in Summit, NJ 07901 on 08/10/16

I have used Pipe Works on multiple occasions and have always been impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. I am not someone who normally writes reviews but I was so happy with the outcome of yesterday's service call that I felt compelled. I called because of a problem with my water heater. Jimmy was the technician sent to my home and he was fabulous. The company that originally installed the water heater did it in a way that made it very difficult to service because the gas valve was facing a wall but this did not stop Jimmy from getting on the ground with mirrors to figure out what the problem was. I was given options and pricing and a promise that the work would be completed same day. Once the work started, Jimmy noticed that there seemed to be a problem with the gas pressure in the house and advised me to call the gas company asap. I was given a 4-hour window for someone from the gas company to come to my home. Jimmy finished up and waited the 15 minutes to be available for the gas company. Long story short, there was water in my gas line. An emergency crew was called by the first gas company rep who came to my home and repairs were made into the night. This problem was affecting the efficiency of my heating system as well as other gas appliances in my home. The gas company guys said I was lucky that Jimmy caught it because it would only have gotten worse to the point that there would be no gas flow at which point I would not have had any heat or hot water. Per usual, this company went above and beyond!!!
