A frequent customer of Pipe Works Services called in regarding her air conditioning unit not turning on. The customer stated the thermostat was working but the communication between the thermostat and and unit was not. Pipe Works Services technician Zach was able to diagnose that the coil pan was cracked and the unit needed to be replaced. Our System Design Specialist Rob M provided all the options to the customer. Our customer had a failing boiler and as you can see from this photo, chaotic piping. The existing system set up was taking up a lot of room on the floor and the piping was an obstacle. As a result the wiring connecting everything created another element of confusion. Our System Design Specialist and Installation technicians came up with a very efficient system that is visually and functionally superior to the existing set up in the customers home. They also installed plywood to the basement wall to create stability for the piping.

Our technicians removed the existing sump pump pit and installed new DES closed lid sump pump pit. They backfilled around the entire pit with 3/4 blue stone and installed new Zoeller M-53 sump pump alert system with a new check valve as well. They tested the discharge and noticed the 4 inch pvc line tied to the discharge was backed up. They spoke with the contact person and she will get the maintenance done on the lieder piping cleared. 

We went out to home to discover the customer's boiler was leaking which was aiding to the low water pressure in the home and hearing the water heater running constantly among other issues the customer called in for.  We went out and left options to repair or replace boiler with homeowner.  The homeowner chose to replace the boiler and we installed a new boiler right away.
