These clients had to put their parkas on to do laundry in the basement! This 100-year old door was letting the wind in around, thru and under it. We framed a new opening and installed an insulated steel door to provide improved comfort and security.
This client in Turnersville was using expensive electricity to heat both their home and hot water. We installed a 95% efficient Bosch tankless water heater that not only provides hot water for bathing, washing, etc. but also heats the house. Monthly utility bills in the winter were reduced by over 60%! And look how much space was saved in their utility room.
Our customer's third floor was way too hot in the summer due to their air conditioning ductwork being exposed to those high attic temperatures.
To solve their sweaty strife, our team insulated the underside of their roof with a combination of high performance 2-inch foam board and fiberglass batts which lowered the attic air temperature dramatically.
The gas bills in this large Victorian home were approaching $1000/month in cold weather! We had previously sealed and insulated the house, which delivered big savings to the homeowners. But now it was time to tackle the old, inefficient boiler in the basement. The piping was a nightmare, as you can see in the before pictures. And despite the number of pipes, some rooms had no heat at all. We straightened the piping out, added some radiators in cold rooms, and replaced the boiler with a 95% efficient Bosch Greenstar that also produces domestic hot water. The homeowner is so proud of his heating system, he brings everyone who visits his home down to see the “mechanical poetry."
This customer's air conditioning was on its last legs, and it was 100-degrees outside. We replaced the old outdoor air conditioner, high velocity air handler and really bad ductwork. It works great even when it's hot and nasty outside.
