One of the foundational basement walls was experiencing a large horizontal crack with about 1 inch sheering, making the home unstable. DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo assisted these homeowners with a free no-obligation estimate to help find the perfect solution for their homes. After careful inspection, it was decided that a GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System would be the best solution.

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a crew. together, the team successfully installed 8 GeoLock™ systems. These support systems are made up of a steel rod that is connected outside in the ground to an Earth Anchor and inside to steel plates attached to the unstable wall. This system offers a permanent solution and can be adjusted in order to restore the wall as close to its original position as possible. 

These homeowners can now complete their basement project with their happy, healthy home.
