Foreman Nick Woods II and his production crew installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier on top of drainage matting to properly seal the dirt crawl space floor. Our ultra-dense TerraBlock™ foam insulation, as well as closed-cell spray foam, were applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space. These products work together to keep, cold air, moisture, and pests at bay.

SprayFoam is then used as the first layer of insulation because it also acts as an air sealant and a moisture barrier. Foreman Raeshawn Pelfrey led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they stripped the crawl space of the old insulation. The first layer of crawl space encapsulation involves installing a layer of dimpled drainage matting to assist the flow of water underneath. Then a layer of TerraBlock™ foam insulation is installed as a barrier against frost. Finally, the previous layers are encased in a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier. The crew also air-sealed the space with a polyurethane spray foam that expands into crevices as it is applied.
The crawl space has been thoroughly encapsulated and the homeowner will be able to relax more comfortably as their home retains cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter. They will also be happy to see lower energy bills as winter progresses.

Foreman Nicholas Woods II led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team began by removing old batting insulation to expose cracks and holes in the home. They then used SprayFoam to air seal these areas and then added a thick, extra layer of SprayFoam to insulate and create a moisture barrier. Finally, Cellulose insulation was blown in to the place to create an effective final insulation layer.
This home will no longer have to suffer from the problems the cold brings.
