Attic mold found after a home inspection
Our customer called us into their home do to cooler rooms in the winter time. After assessing the attic there was not nearly enough insulation. The batt insulation was in good condition and we used this as a thermal barrier for our blow in TruSoft Stabilized Insulation. This blanket of protection added this attic to resistance of R60. This will help with those cooler rooms
Or customer had a home inspection for the sale of their home and possible mold was suspected in the attic. After TCI's inspection it was confirmed mold was present. Our company was hired to complete remediation in the attic. We used Mold X2 and Botanical Products to remediate this mold. We also cleared all soffit vents of debris and added all new duel baffles to correct the ventilation. This home did get sold and the new homeowner now has a clean and breathable attic.
Our customer purchased this home knowing that a substance was on the sheathing and truss in the attic soffit vents were plugged and a whole house fan not working. Our customer had us clean this attic, we used Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanicals to remediated. We also cleared the soffits of any debris or insulation and replaced with new DuroVent Baffles.
Our customer called for their home was having continual watermarks on the ceiling of several rooms in the home. Once inspected we determined a lot of warm air was lost from their top plate, a dozen recessed lights and a chimney which was not insulated properly. We removed all insulation, air sealed and added all new Cellulose Insulation.
