Before we were called, this attic was a major source of high energy costs for this Farmington home and made the rooms directly beneath the attic cold and drafty during the winter. When we got the call we quickly realized the problem was due to a lack of insulation and proper air sealing. We then insulated the attic with our open-cell spray foam, which has an excellent gap and crack filling capability, as well as the ability to stop air leaks. This attic used to be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It was making energy costs for the homeowner sky high.
