I have a 30 yr. old two story house and an odd shaped attic over about 3/4 of the second floor. The air handler and ductwork for the upstairs heat pump is about the only thing in there, there is no flooring as there are roof trusses in most of it. The house was built to fairly high energy standards in effect in 1983, but redoing the entire duct system and replacing the heat pumps has taken it's toll on the insulation up there. I'd like to improve the insulation and sealing in the attic, and looking for the various options that can accomplish that, as well as get some price estimates.
