What can you do with a low slope attic (probably a 3 pitch or less)? It is stick built with 2 x 6 rafters (with knee braces, no trusses), with the attic floor approximately 30 x 40. It is presently insulated with blown fiberglass. I'm a big fan of mineral wool batt insulation and would love to know if you think I can insulate the rafters instead of the ceiling floor.
