What made you choose our company:

Having an attached garage in a ranch style home and when repairing a hole in the wall in the garage that has the living room on the other side of that wall I found that there was no insulation in that wall other than plastic sheeting. With the intent to have blown in cellulose insulation injected into this wall I inquired to have quotes from various providers. The provider selected was DES and an appointment was made. Chris came and explained the process for the cellulose injection which was approved. Once completed Chris politely ask if it was acceptable to do a walk through of the residence and see if there might be any other issues to consider. He checked the attic and living areas and found no issues. In the basement there is a finished and utility side. What Chris found in the basement was the windows that were the original windows from when the house was built and was a heat loss source. Where the rim joists sit on the foundation I had placed fiberglass insulation as a means to reduce heat loss in the basement. In identifying this Chris advised that even though it was beneficial it didn't completely stop all the heat loss. The final result was that in addition to the cellulose insulation he recommended replacement of windows to glass block and remove fiberglass and replace with spray foam. With the recommendation Chris completely explained how the situation in the basement totally affects the heating/cooling balance throughout the home completely and with this understanding I valued his recommendation and accepted the complete package. In early Nov the job was scheduled and assigned to Harrison and his installation crew. Upon arriving, Harrison before starting fully explained the process and requested any questions that may need answered. From the time the job was started through completion the entire crew was organized, skillful in their job, respectful of property and family and cleanup was as if they weren't even there. This is being reviewed in Dec due to the fact that I gave a time window to evaluate the result of the installation. What I find is that starting with the basement there is a noticeable temperature change where prior there was a constant chill. For the living area with the added insulation in the wall again noticeable temperature change which has resulted in the furnace running less frequently and maintaining a balance of heat. From the initial quote request to the finished project Chris, Harrison and job crew were on time, professional, respectful and dedicate to quality work.
