I chose Halco over 5 or 6 other heating/cooling professionals to install a newly designed system for our home five years ago.

I have had some frustration with the systems operation from the very beginning and especially with understanding the specifics of zone operations, primary and backup system interaction and cross-functionality and overall system performance -- not for a lack of asking questions.

I have received differing input and directives at times throughout the years and learned that I did not have the type of control over the primary components of the system as I understood upon installation.

Matt seemed to have made the best assessment of our situation in understanding that we are not at all interested in the 1, 2, or 3-degree comfort factor but are interested in maximizing the use to our air to air heat pump to the absolute extreme for overall cost savings.

Matt intimated that he made adjustments to our system which will optimize the heat pump in ways that I have expressed a desire for from the beginning to Halco but have been told were not possible with our current controls.

That said, I am hopeful and looking forward to getting the absolute best performance from my heat pump during the upcoming "shoulder seasons".
