Mike was so helpful and kind. I felt bad about how yucky that corner of the basement was, with spider webs and the water from the leaking water pump, but he was totally cool about it. I really appreciated his perspective about your membership program, given the aging and increasingly problematic state of our plumbing. I also was so grateful that he fit us in at the end of the day, given how busy he was. I felt a real sense of compassion from him for our situation with our kids and lack of very necessary water.

He said we need a new water pump, which was no surprise, honestly (we've been told for years that it's not the right size for our house and is old and probably in need of replacement)

He turned it on to replicate the problem, then turned it back off after verifying that it was leaking like crazy, and after he'd had a chance to see where it was leaking from

No cleanup today (not really necessary; he just hung the cord back up after unplugging it again)
