Later, they moved to New Jersey for her pursuit of a Ph.D. Here at Dave Hoh's Home Comfort & Energy Experts, Colby seamlessly became a part of our family. Although he initially applied as an insulation installer, his extensive industry experience led to a change in his position. His BPI certification played a crucial role in his success in this new role. Now, he takes pride in his accomplishments while cherishing the joys of parenthood with his new baby boy.

After we pull up the fiberglass insulation we can see the attic is not air sealed. Looking at the sill or top plate we can see gaps and wires with holes in the attic floor. Air the homeowner is paying for is leaking out into the attic.
¼ to ½ inch gap in the attic floors sill plate or top plate and a drill hole can be seen. This is where conditioned air the homeowner is paying for is leaking into the attic.
Fiberglass insulation, while porous, is ineffective at insulating the attic when exposed.
This home had inadequate attic insulation and was not air sealed.
The entrance to the crawl space in not insulated at all.
This attic has dirty & contaminated fiberglass insulation. Also the owners attic is not air sealed.
We're in the basement, standing by the entrance to the crawl space.
The rear of the house reveals that the brick exterior wraps around the entirety of the home.
