I proudly served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division before relocating to central New Jersey in 1986 to start a family. After over a decade in the HVAC and Home Performance industry, I decided to establish my own business. In 2013, we joined the certified Dr. Energy Saver Specialists network and rebranded as "Dave Hoh's Home Comfort & Energy Experts."

As a BPI-certified professional, I have the expertise to help customers with any service-related issue. Despite leading the company, I still enjoy meeting homeowners and personally addressing their energy and comfort concerns. I am a dedicated and humble contractor, committed to helping you with all your home energy and comfort needs.

Air passing through the fiberglass leaving black dust and dirt all over the insulation.
After we pull up the fiberglass insulation we can see the attic is not air sealed. Looking at the sill or top plate we can see gaps and wires with holes in the attic floor. Air the homeowner is paying for is leaking out into the attic.
¼ to ½ inch gap in the attic floors sill plate or top plate and a drill hole can be seen. This is where conditioned air the homeowner is paying for is leaking into the attic.
This is what the crawl space looked like before any work was done.
Stops air from moving through the attic stair opening even while the stairs are closed.
Without insulation, air can just freely move into your home creating comfort and energy issues.
All of this square footage was uninsulated, allowing air to move through freely
