Comment: Good Afternoon. I have watched tons and tons of your YouTube videos and I think your channel is awesome. Thanks so much for educating the public on this. I have a question please if you could help me out. My wife and I have a cape style home which consists of no attic access. We building an addition on our home which consisted of a living room and a garage with a room above. The room above will most likely be our master bed room or game room. The question I have is insulation. Yes we could put the proper insulation on the ceiling joist and install the proper vents on the roof but the question I have is if my wife and I wanted to load up the ceiling with insulation how would we achieve that if we don't have attic access. I am not a big fan of drilling holes from my flat roof and blowing in insulation that way. We have a lot of recess lights on our ceiling so there would be not way for me to building boxes out of 2" foam board because I can't access up the ceiling. Could I have the roof rafters all spray foamed and then add fiberglass in the bays. I am not sure if that is legit or the correct way to do It. I hired a contractor to insulate my garage and living room and living room floor from basement but I was not pleased. I am just lost for this room. We will not be finishing the room for a little while but the rough electrical is completed. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Comment: Attic has airhandler and ice dams. Interested in Super-Attic. Also need insulation replaced in walls and cathedral ceiling. It was damaged by ice dams.
