I'm still cleaning up the dust in the basement and it could have easily been prevented if the salesman had emphasized it and suggested covering things before the work began. You all do a thorough job in other ways and it seems like an obvious thing to mention. Unfortunately, I missed it it in the contract but I would have remembered it. You guys are all about customer service and covering this detail would make it even better.
Daryl was pleasant and professional. I wish he had emphasized the dust issue and to cover things - it would have saved me several days of cleaning up the mess. There was also a miscommunication -we asked if the board should be removed before they fill the old sump hole. We were told they would do it but they tried to fill around it rather than remove the board.
The muddy floor and the dust were a major disappointment and required a lot of clean up on my part after they left. Again, if I had been verbally told I would have covered things. Not their fault but I'm sure they know they create a lot of dust and have seen placed where people have taken time t cover and places that have not. A courtesy call is above and beyond and not required but I would have been a "jubilant" customer if I had gotten a call about it before the work was done.
