Orlando, FL 32806We just purchased this house. It was built in 1956 and has very little in the way of good attic insulation. With the current cold we can already assume we will have a tough time here in the summer as the air in the house seemingly flys out of the walls. When looking on the attic there are areas with little to no insulation and I can see joists and less than an inch covering the ceiling in many points. Also the duct work looks to have been patched and may need a good overhaul. That coupled with the fact that it is a low slope roof makes it very difficult to move around. I'd love to have someone who knows what they are doing to come take a look.
