Nathan Freeman

Nathan Freeman is a dedicated energy auditor residing in Milford, Delaware. Although not a Delaware native, Nathan was born in Texas and has lived all over the globe due to his father’s service in the United States Air Force. He has a strong educational background, having spent two years at Del Tech, where he obtained an A.A.S. in Renewable Energy and Energy Management. During his studies, Nathan gained extensive knowledge in energy reduction and the application of alternative and renewable energy sources. He holds OSHA 10 and NABCEP PV Associate certifications and has also earned his BPI-BP certification through Lawson Home Services.
Tenure at the Company
Nathan joined Lawson Home Services in December 2023 as an energy auditor, bringing his academic expertise and certifications to the role.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an energy auditor, Nathan’s primary duties include conducting energy audits for existing homes, performing energy code testing for new construction projects, and carrying out post-installation test outs for energy-saving projects where incentives from Energize Delaware were utilized. His workday can vary, encompassing one or all of these duties, with energy audits being his primary responsibility. Nathan appreciates the hybrid flexibility of his role, allowing him to conduct much of his work from home.
Passion and Interests
Nathan finds the best part of his role to be the flexibility and the impact he has on energy efficiency. He is passionate about his work and enjoys the blend of in-field and remote tasks.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys swimming at the local Boys and Girls Club and studying a variety of subjects, including aviation, cosmology, astronomy, and engineering. His diverse interests reflect his continuous quest for knowledge and his appreciation for the complexities of the world.
