Grandfathered-in legal 2-family home, but w/out permission to separate electric meters since the town doesn't want to encourage other rentals on the street. Soooo, whether or not this is pertinent, idk. But thinking there's no problem with putting in two separate tankless water heaters in the basement nonetheless, so that there's no problem paying separately for gas usage. Obviously, first I'd like an estimate on one and then two heaters. It's really a small home with about 900 square feet to heat each apartment. On a completely separate subject, I'd like to know if while you're there you could fill a bathroom wall around the tub with new polyurithane insulation before we retile the currently empty walls there. And what would materials for a standard size tub area wall filling cost? Thanks.
