Comment: Renovating new home and want to add insulation to ceiling/attic. 2x6 ceiling rafters with only 3 1/2" R-11 insulation. Started replacing with 6" R-19, but want to add more and large floor area for storage. SuperAttic system is intriguing, but not so sure it will work for our attic, as we do not have any forced air HVAC systems (just hot water baseboard and window A/C) and also have a whole-house fan and gable vents in attic (no soffit/ridge vents). Have a lot of attic area (long, split-level house). Help?!? Please contact me ASAP, as we're at a point of doing sheetrock and want to figure out a feasible, cost-effective approach. Maybe this weekend? Thank you.
