Hello, I just bought a home in Avon, CT. Do you offer anything that can be used for insulating/winterizing an attic whole house fan that can be removed during the summer if we want to use it, and what about any other services to prevent air leakage/heating/cooling loss between the attic and living areas. Do you perform assessments and/or installations? In addition, I wanted to inquiry solutions for a new thermostat. The home has oil heat with a boiler and hot water baseboard heating. We have been told the home has two zones, although the home has at least three different temperature control devices and we are not sure what controls what or the location of the zones. I am interested in the Emme, Nest, Venstar, and others you might recommend, and I also want to explore whether it is possible to add zones and if you provide those services. I filled out a form at the big y kids fair in Hartford, CT, and would like to set up an appointment as soon as possible. We have a quote on reflective (radiant barrier) insulation but are not sure that will solve all of our issues. I know we have drafty windows and cold floors and I want to know what the best and most cost effective solution to keep us from losing massive amounts of heat in the winter would be.
